An intruder broke into the Washington State Capitol building on Sunday and smashed a glass door, toppled statues of George Washington and Martin Luther King Jr, AP reported. He reportedly set fire in an ornate reception room known for hosting heads of state. Identified as 29-year-old Gunnar Schubert, the man has been taken into custody.
