A man was shot dead by his friends after they mistook him for a wild boar during a hunting trip in Maharashtra's Palghar. The incident came to light after the victim's wife lodged a missing-person complaint with the police on Monday, leading to the arrest of eight people. Police said they are searching for others, who are on the run.
