Kamaljit Singh, a resident of Shivalik City, Sector 127 in Kharar, was arrested by the police for murdering his wife. He strangled her with his T-shirt, placed her body in a bag and dumped it in a canal near Rupnagar. Kamaljit's friend and accomplice Sukhdeep Singh, alias Dimpy, has also been arrested in the case.
