A Windows 10 user sued Microsoft in US over its October 14 deadline for ending support for Windows 10 and older OS. The lawsuit claims the deadline is part of Microsoft's "larger strategy to force customers to purchase new devices". Microsoft is charging $30 to allow users not upgrading to Windows 11 to get security-only updates for an extra year.
