A 30-year-old man was swept away in the flooded Mithi River in Mumbai amid heavy water flow. Reportedly, he went into the river for swimming along with a group of friends but was stranded due to a sudden rise in the river flow. Residents immediately rushed for help and rescued him near Phulenagar area in Powai.
