IRCTC took strict action against a vendor after a man was seen washing a stack of used disposable food containers aboard the Erode-Jogbani Amrit Bharat Express. The viral video raised serious concerns about hygiene standards. Taking stock of the matter, IRCTC said, "The vendor has been identified and removed with immediate effect." A heavy fine will also be imposed.
