Akhtar Hussain Qutubuddin Ahmed, arrested for posing as nuclear scientist at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, had travelled abroad around 40 times using a forged passport, revealed a probe by Mumbai Police. The 60-year-old visited Iran nearly 20 times and Saudi Arabia around 15 times. In 2004, he was deported from Dubai after claiming to be a "scientist possessing classified documents."
