Manchester United will close their staff canteen and instead offer employees a free piece of fruit as part of cost-cutting measures at the club. This comes after Manchester United recently decided to make 200 jobs redundant to "return the club to profitability". Notably, about 250 members of Manchester United staff were made redundant last year to cut costs.
