Manipal Hospitals has announced the acquisition of Pune-based Sahyadri Hospitals from Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan Board in a deal estimated at ₹6,400 cr. This move adds 11 hospitals to Manipal's network, expanding its bed capacity to 12,000. The acquisition strengthens Manipal's presence in western India and marks a major step in its nationwide expansion.
