Subhash Chandran, whose 2006 Guna Caves rescue inspired the hit film Manjummel Boys, is contesting the Eloor municipal election as a Congress candidate from Ward 27. A lifelong Congress supporter, Chandran has been active in local development. He says his struggles have prepared him to serve the underprivileged and uplift his community.
