Purnia MP (Independent) Pappu Yadav has claimed Congress MP Rahul Gandhi "rejected" PM's post, which was offered to him by ex-PM Manmohan Singh, during the second stint of UPA government. "Manmohan Singh told him, 'Rahul ji you become [PM]'. He said, 'Never'," said Yadav, in an ANI podcast. Yadav also called Rahul "Harvard-educated genius boy".
