Jharkhand BJP president Babu Lal Marandi has alleged a conspiracy was hatched during the state assembly polls last year by a senior police officer to frame Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma even as the latter claimed that attempts were made to honeytrap him during the period. Sarma was BJP's in charge of the Jharkhand assembly election, held last year.
