The Allahabad High Court said marital quarrels and domestic disputes are quite common and if a spouse dies by suicide for this reason, it cannot be considered as abetment. The court said this while hearing an abetment to suicide case against Rachna Devi and her parents in UP's Auraiya. Notably, Rachna's husband died by suicide on November 13, 2022.
