Granting bail to a man arrested in a rape case, the Bombay High Court recently ruled that a married woman can't claim that she fell victim to a false promise of marriage and consented to sexual intercourse on that ground. "Being a married woman, she was clearly aware that she would not be able to marry the applicant," HC said.
