A French naval monitoring firm has reported that nearly a thousand ships have experienced severe GPS signal jamming near Iran over the past week. The MICA Maritime Information and Cooperation Awareness Centre stated that the GPS disruptions may have contributed to the collision of two giant tankers in the Gulf of Oman.
