A massive 7.6 magnitude earthquake struck offshore southern Philippines on Friday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology. The earthquake, which was at a depth of 10 km, hit waters off Mindanao's Manay town. A tsunami warning has been issued in the coastal areas and people have been urged to evacuate to higher ground.
