U.S. Border Patrol uncovered a nearly 3,000-foot-long drug smuggling tunnel connecting a Tijuana home to a San Diego warehouse. Equipped with lighting and rails, the tunnel was found incomplete in April and has since been sealed. Officials say it reflects growing use of underground routes as border security tightens, marking the 96th such discovery in the area since 1993.
