A 100-metre stretch of the Bhopal Bypass in Madhya Pradesh collapsed on Monday, leaving behind a 30-foot-deep crater. No casualties were reported in the incident. In a preliminary report, the state government cited farmers digging soil near the wall, which allegedly blocked drainage and caused waterlogging inside the embankment, as the reason for the collapse, NDTV reported.
