UP Police has arrested Maulana Tauqeer Raza's close aide, Maulana Mohsin Raza, after the September 26 Bareilly violence. Police also initiated bulldozer action against Mohsin Raza's property. Notably, the Bareilly violence broke out when demonstrators holding 'I Love Muhammad' placards pelted stones at police during protests after Friday namaz. Police has made 56 arrests in connection with case.
