BSP chief Mayawati said UP government's decision to merge schools with less than 50 students with nearby institutions is unjust, unnecessary and anti-poor. "UP government's decision will affect children who receive accessible government education near their homes," she said. Mayawati further said that if BSP forms the next government in the state, then this decision will be cancelled.
