Bhubaneswar Mayor Sulochana Das and BJD leaders held a protest at Janpath, Bhubaneshwar as BMC Additional Commissioner Ratnakar Sahoo was attacked, on one of the city's busiest roads, disrupting traffic. The protest highlighted the growing anger over the assault. Mayor Das, who was briefly detained, declared that public servants and citizens alike are not safe under the current administration.
