An 18-year-old MBBS student died after allegedly being made to stand for three hours by seniors during ragging at GMERS Medical College and Hospital in Gujarat's Patan, officials said on Sunday. Anil Methaniya, who was a first-year student, apparently fell unconscious during the ragging at a hostel, the college's dean said. The college has launched an investigation into the matter.
