India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) expressed gratitude to the governments of Iran and Armenia for assisting in the safe evacuation of Indian nationals. Acknowledging their cooperation, the MEA praised the smooth cross-border movement in times of crisis. According to the local student association, 90 of the evacuated students are from Jammu and Kashmir.
