Meghalaya's East Khasi Hills district, where Indore businessman Raja Raghuvanshi was allegedly murdered by his wife, has made tourist guides mandatory for all treks in the district. An official order stated that this policy will help prevent tourists falling victim to crimes in remote locations. Tourism officials said that strict action will be taken for violating the new rule.
