Meghalaya has signed a 3-year MoU with Northeast United FC to realise its vision of becoming India’s football capital. The pact (2025–2028) will bring ISL matches, training camps, and fan parks to Shillong, with the government investing ₹14 crore to boost sports, youth engagement, and tourism across the state.
