Meghalaya received ₹30.94 crore in CSR funds from 40 companies in FY24, despite its growing industrial base. Education, rural development, and environment were the focus sectors, with spends of ₹8.4 crore, ₹8.39 crore, and ₹7.26 crore, respectively. HDFC Bank (₹11.32 crore), Tata Communications (₹5.46 crore), and Star Cement (₹2.32 crore) emerged as the top contributors.
