Meghalaya has achieved 77.81% progress under the Smart City Mission, Deputy CM Sniawbhalang Dhar informed the State Assembly. While concerns were raised about focus on commercial complexes, Dhar assured other sectors would be covered in phase two. Projects include open-air gyms worth ₹5 crore and the operationalisation of Polo commercial complex with 109 shops.
