An 18-year-old Meghalaya student was hospitalised after being forced to do 400 sit-ups by a tutor at a Dehradun NDA coaching centre for talking in class. He suffered severe leg and back pain, and an FIR was filed under BNS Section 117(2). The student's father also alleged harassment and threats from the institute. Police investigation is ongoing.
