A 26-year-old woman, Madhu, was found hanging at her Lucknow home months after her marriage to a Merchant Navy officer, Anurag Singh. The woman's family has accused Anurag of murdering her and staging it as a suicide. They alleged Anurag harassed Madhu for dowry and even forced her for abortion while he was having an affair with another woman.
