Meta's AI research VP Joelle Pineau will leave the company on May 30 after working with the tech major for nearly eight years. She has been overseeing Meta's Fundamental AI Research (FAIR) group since 2023 and has worked on multiple projects including Llama and Roberta. Pineau said she'd take some time off before jumping into a "new adventure".
