Meta has unveiled a prototype wristband that lets users control computers with hand gestures. The device uses electromyography (EMG) to detect electrical signals from forearm muscles triggered by spinal motor neurons. With the technology, a small wrist flick can move laptop cursor, a thumb-finger tap can launch apps and writing in the air can produce letters on a smartphone screen.
