A meteorite that smashed house roof in Georgia's Atlanta in the US in June has been found to be older than the Earth. University of Georgia researchers found that the meteorite formed 4.56 billion years ago, which is around 20 million years older than the Earth. The meteorite has been named McDonough Meteorite by the researchers.
