MGM Healthcare, Chennai, successfully performed a reduced monosegmental living donor liver transplant on a 5-month-old infant with Crigler-Najjar syndrome. The complex 10-hour surgery involved using a portion of the mother's liver. Led by Dr. Thiagarajan Srinivasan, the team ensured minimal blood loss. The child recovered well and was discharged in 14 days.
