MI head coach Mahela Jayawardene revealed that the team's bowlers were losing their grip on the ball due to dew halfway through the IPL 2025 Eliminator against GT. "We changed our plans to bowl yorkers...because the length balls were skidding through," Jayawardene added. "It was a tough last 10 overs...but the experienced heads held together and...executed brilliantly," he stated.
