Nicholas Pooran has been appointed MI New York (MINY) captain for the upcoming season of Major League Cricket (MLC). Pooran recently announced his retirement from international cricket. He takes over the captaincy from fellow West Indian Kieron Pollard. Pooran was also the highest run-scorer in the 2023 MLC season with 388 runs.
