Micron has begun shipping its high-speed, power-efficient HBM4 memory to key customers, designed to boost AI performance in data centers. The 36GB 12-high HBM4 achieves over 2 TB/s throughput and 20% better power efficiency than HBM3E, enabling faster AI training and inference. Micron also announced a ₹13,000 crore investment to set up a semiconductor plant in Sanand, Gujarat.
