Microsoft has blocked the Israeli military’s access to some of its technology that was being used to collect Palestinian civilian phone calls in Gaza and the West Bank, the Guardian reported. Israel's Unit 8200 reportedly used Microsoft's Azure cloud platform to store this surveillance data. The project aimed to collect "a million calls an hour", the report said.
