Microsoft has shut its operations in Pakistan after 25 years. Jawwad Rehman, who set up the operations in June 2000, confirmed the development in a LinkedIn post, saying, "This is more than a corporate exit. It's a sobering signal of the environment our country...has created." Global giants like Microsoft find it "unsustainable" to stay in Pakistan, he added.
