Microsoft will be investing over $33 billion into "neocloud" companies to secure AI computing power, reported Bloomberg. The strategy includes $19.4 billion deal with Nebius for NVIDIA chips, with the aim to address shortage of AI data centre capacity and free up Microsoft's servers for profitable customer services. Microsoft will get access to over 100,000 of NVIDIA's GB300 chips.
