Microsoft will shut down its document scanning app, Microsoft Lens–PDF Scanner, on September 15, while users can use the app till December 15. Previously saved scans will remain accessible to users as long as the app is installed on their devices. The move comes as part of a shift toward its Microsoft 365 Copilot app, which also has scanning features.
