MiG-21 fighter jets received a water cannon salute at their decommissioning ceremony held at the Chandigarh Air Force Station. Inducted in 1963, the MiG-21 served the nation for over 60 years before being phased out. Air Chief Marshal AP Singh flew the final sortie, and Squadron Leader Priya Sharma became the last woman pilot to fly the jet.
