Mild fever after vaccination in children is normal and shows the body is building immunity, says Dr Suresh Kumar Panuganti, Pediatrician. It's a sign that the immune system is responding to the vaccine. Though rare, mild febrile seizures can occur but are usually harmless. Parents should stay calm and consult their pediatrician if concerned.
