Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh launched the book “Carbon Footprint Assessment in the Indian Handloom Sector”, jointly prepared by the Handlooms Office and IIT Delhi. Featuring methods and case studies, it guides eco-friendly production in India’s handloom industry, empowering rural livelihoods, especially women etc with environmental and cultural preservation goals.
