At least two Union Ministers, JP Nadda and Kiren Rijiju, reached out to former Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar after the government discovered that he had acknowledged an Opposition-sponsored motion to remove Justice Yashwant Varma, HT reported. Rijiju also reportedly conveyed to him that PM Modi disapproved of the move, to which Dhankhar indicated that he was acting within the rules.
