Mira-Bhayandar-Vasai Virar Police rescued two girls from a prostitution racket run by 39-year-old Sultana Momotaj Saiyyad in Mira Road, Thane. Using a decoy operation, police caught Sultana accepting ₹12,000 to arrange sex services. The victims are now in protective care. An accomplice remains at large. An FIR was filed under the Immoral Traffic Prevention Act and other laws.
