Baidyanath Pandit, a migrant man in Maharashtra's Nashik, was allegedly beaten by a local man and MNS workers after his car brushed past local man's vehicle when he was learning to drive. One of the MNS workers asked Pandit if he knew Marathi and asked him to learn the language. Pandit later said that local man also slapped his wife.
