A truck was set on fire by a mob on the night of September 22 for allegedly transporting beef in Karnataka. The mob also reportedly assaulted the driver of the vehicle. The police said the mob inspected the vehicle and found tonnes of beef before setting the vehicle ablaze. Six people have been arrested in connection with the matter.
