Rapper Raftaar has criticised Indo-Canadian rapper Tommy Genesis for purportedly dressing as a Hindu goddess and licking a crucifix in the music video for her song 'True Blue'. Raftaar shared a screenshot showing he has reported the video on YouTube, with the reason, "This is a mockery of my religion. This shouldn't exist". He urged people to do the same.
