Congress MLA and Karnataka Minister, Priyank Kharge, hit out at the Modi government after US President Donald Trump imposed a $100,000 (₹88 lakh) annual fee on H-1B visas. "Modi-Dolaand [Donald] friendship is turning out to be very expensive," he said. The move is expected to hit Indian workers the hardest as they account for over 70% of H-1Bs, he added.
