Congress' Jairam Ramesh said several environmental activists have written to PM Narendra Modi seeking redressal of their issues. Activists have raised concerns about giving untenable data on encroachment of forest areas to Parliamentary forums and NGT, he said. "But the track record of the Modi Government does not inspire the confidence that these issues will even get discussed," he added.
